My Heritage? - My Culture :)

Just some motion campaigns that stood out for me.

One realization that has dawned on me a little late in Life is that my heritage is really only the culture I inherit (whether by choice or diktat) and pass on to subsequent generations and nothing else. Whilst 'culture' and 'heritage' may be deemed synonymous to one another, the usage of 'heritage' is to convey merely a limited set of practices passed on from generation to generation, whist the term 'culture' denotes "the totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human work and thought".

Genetic Makeup - An Investigative Account... Not!

The travel over the previous week was aimed at unearthing some family history from dad's end. Mais, Fate intervened to ensure the week passed by uneventfully. Bickering and internal politics left me with no useful knowledge at all, just some tidbits of information that may act as fillers during a lull in a coffee-table conversation.
